A newer luxury build, executive level residence with soaring ceilings, massive log beams and rafters, plank floors, and carpeted bedrooms. Take long walks on the beach, just 50 steps from the house, and witness beautiful pink and purple sunsets from this western-facing home. Lake Michigan water levels vary each year, but this frontage usually allows you to walk out almost a quarter mile into the lake before you get waist deep. You get a secluded feeling on this heavily wooded lot, but are just minutes from all conveniences. A wonderful, soothing retreat to get away from all of the stresses back home, but with all conveniences you'd expect in a luxury retreat. You'll enjoy the expansive deck, which is ideal for catching some sun or grilling out, also the perfect place for an evening cocktail. The great room offers plenty of seating, a massive stone, wood-burning fireplace, and views of Lake Michigan. For entertainment, there is cable, Smart TVs, BluRay Player with a movie library, board games, whole house music system, and WiFi. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped and has top-of-the-line appliances, including a Sub-Zero dual zone wine fridge, for your perfect temperature reds and whites. I stayed at this cabin for only three nights. I can say that the cabin is really cool, the location on the shore of Lake Michigan, and everything inside it is truly superb. This is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy time with family or friends. You can watch the sunset from the porch or the deck. A great view of the lake Michgan.

We rented out this home for a mens golf weekend and it did not disappoint. The views are spectacular, the house was perfect. The outdoor fire pit was a nice touch. We were driving distance from a bunch of different golf courses and restaurants. It was very clean. I can't recommend this place enough.

This property was everything we wanted in terms of relaxation, cleanliness, and comfort. Very peaceful. We enjoyed our stay with the exception of the thick smoke from the Canadian fires, which was unfortunate, but ofcourse not related to the property itself. We would love to return in the future.

The cottage is in an excellent location with amazing sunsets over Lake Michigan. The sofas are worn and need to be updated. The Weber grill was in poor condition when we arrived with old food on the grill and an empty propane bottle. The freezer has a maintenance warning light and needs immediate repair.

Absolutely love this place!This is our 2nd stay in the beautiful log cabin on Lakeshore drive. Beautifully decorated, clean, everything you could need and excellent views of Lake Michigan and all it's beauty! We love the entertaining area. Perfect for 3 couples and a baby. We were able to cook meals, eat together, and have space for game nights with wine, ect. Wont be our last stay.

We held a family reunion at the cottage which was in excellent condition. Everyone enjoyed the sun deck over looking Lake Michigan, smores by the fire pit in the evenings and of course morning donuts from Friskes market. Wonderful property which we plan to revisit next year.

The cabin was spacious, ruggedly beautiful and thoughtfully decorated. Cozy seating areas, fireplaces and soft lighting in all directions. The lakeshore was beautiful and very private. The water was high, so there was less shoreline to walk, but I imagine that's a temporary condition. It was a relatively short drive to nearby communities. But we enjoyed staying in the cabin most of the time, reading on the deck and making fires for s'mores and warmth. A perfect getaway!

Six of us decided to rent the Executive Residence on Lake michigan. Some drove 7hrs and some drove 5 hrs an it was well worth the drive. This place is about 2miles off of 31 an was outstanding. The cabin was just what the pictures show on the web site.
My brother and his wife got to talk to the cleaning lady an she was very helpful. I was very excited to use the Viking cooktop and the european ovens. We took lots of TP and paper towels and dishwasher soap and laundry soap.
The place was clean and we loved that it didnt have Stuff sitting around.
We cooked there, sat at the beach ,and enjoyed sunsets, We also had a fire everynite in the fireplace while we played cards and listened to music.
The beds are very compy as well as the furniture. A wonderful place to create memories for a life time.
We shopped while some played golf at all the different courses. Of course we were in the water . The only negitive that we would have was getting down the steps to the beach for some. If the owners would put a rail on one sde that would be ideal. and then I would dare anyone to find a negitive. Our week had sun everyday and we also had a breeze at nite so no bugs....i tell everyone about this place . We had great time going to Charlevoix, Harbor Springs,Bay Harbor,Petoskey. Great vacation in Michigan. I gave it 5 for almost everthing but a 4 for the property outside.Just need to trim some weeds around the property.

Margo Lodge was great. The place is so spacious and beautiful. It was more than we expected. We enjoyed many meals at the large dining room table . The kitchen has the best applicances and stocked well with all the things needed to cook. The bedrooms were clean spacious. Loved watching sunrises and sunsets from the 3 decks. Walking down stone steps to the beach. My grandchildren loved playing on the beach. We were close to Charlevoix and enjoyed their parks and beaches. Great places to eat nearby. My family wants to come back next year.

This is a very large, well equipped 3 bedroom house in a beautiful and very quiet location. We loved the fact that we had Lake Michigan and a beach accessible from the garden and the very smart towns of Charlevoix and Petoskey a short drive away. The property management company are exceptionally efficient and helpful.

We had a great time and the home was beautiful especially where the home was located. The views of lake Michigan were incredible. There was a gale force wind warning for Friday night and all day Saturday and mother nature did not disappoint. Whats amazing was on Thursday night and Friday the lake was pure glass and to watch the transformation from calm to 8-10 foot waves was amazing. As beautiful as Lake Michigan can be when it is calm and to watch it change into a raging wave crazed lake was spectacular!! There are about seven steps down to the shoreline and about 10 foot of beach at this property but on Saturday the waves were crashing up over the top of these steps just wild!! The sunsets are breathtaking and our pictures turned out beautiful!! The home itself was beautiful!! Full hand scribe huge logs and three beautiful fireplaces, hardwood floors. Everything we needed was there all we had to bring was our clothes and food/drinks. This owners provides a warm comfortable home with a killer view. This home will sleep about 8 with 3 full bedrooms 2.5 baths. I believe the family room was an addition to the original log home build and it was a great idea!! The furniture was very nice and comfortable. The whole house music system was a great idea, along with satellite TV and a whole house generator which came in handy as the power went out twice due to the strong winds but we had power!! If you have a large family and are looking for a great Lake Michigan vacation in a gorgeous log home well this is a cant miss opportunity for you and your family!! The admission is worth the price!! It was just my wife and I staying here so we had all sorts of room. there is also a beautiful lakeside deck with furniture and a fire pit with furnished wood already split. On Saturday night when the winds died down we had a beautiful fire as the sunset over Lake Michigan ahhh Pure Michigan!!

Loving this part of Michigan we decided to take a long weekend in Lake Charlevoix. This house was perfect for our family which included two grandchildren. House was clean and met our expectation. Weekend provided beautiful weather so were able to enjoy the private beach and Lake Michigan. Loved using the outdoor fire pit as well as the grill. Thank you also for the tip from the owners about Friske's Farm Market. Enjoyed pizza from there our first night and the next morning the children loved their little petting area especially the goats. Great weekend!
